میرے پاس مائیکرونیٹ براڈ بینڈ کا ڈی ایس ایل کنیکشن ہے ۔ آج دوپہر کے بعد سے انٹرنیٹ نہیں چل رہا تھا ۔ مغرب کے وقت چلنا شروع ہوا اور وہ بھی مکمل نہیں ۔ اس دوران میں نے آئی ایس پی کو ٹیلیفون کیا اور میں بِیسویں کالر کے طور پر قطار میں لگ گیا ۔ دس منٹ بعد میں نمبر سات پر پہنچا پھر میں نے ٹیلیفون بند کر دیا ۔ مغرب کے وقت جب انٹر نیٹ چالو ہوا تو مجھے نے آئی ایس پی کی ای میل آئی جس کا لُبِ لُباب یہ ہے

پی ٹی اے کے حُکم پر پی ٹی سی ایل نے کچھ سرورز کی آئی پُیز بلاک کر دی ہیں ۔ وجہ یہ بتائی ہے کہ ان سرورز کو استعمال کرنے والی کسی ویب سائیٹ نے قابلِ اعتراض مواد شائع کیا تھا ۔ قارئین کی خاطر مکمل ای میل انگریزی میں نیچے نقل کر دی ہے

Kindly note, that on directives of PTA, PTCL has blocked IPs of some of the web servers due to which some of the websites are not opening at all and some of the websites are opening up but their contents are being displayed partially. Please note, sites like Microsoft, Yahoo, etc. pull their content from different servers distributed across different networks. The reason for blocking these web servers IPs is that these web servers are hosting some websites which are displaying objectionable material. PTCL has blocked the web servers which might be hosting sites which are not accessible or partially accessible to our valued customers, instead of blocking the particular website.

We are in constant contact with PTA and have requested them to come up with a mechanism following which PTCL blocks undesirable content websites and not complete web servers, so that connectivity with legitimate content is not disturbed. As soon as we have an update regarding this issue, it will be communicated to our valued customers.
