کے امتحان کا وقت ہے کہ آپ ثابت کریں کہ آپ حقیقی طور پر انسانیت دوست ہیں ۔ مجھے یقین ہے کہ آپ واقعی انسان دوست ہیں ۔ آگے بڑھئیے اور اسے عملی طور پر ثابت کیجئے ۔ ہزاروں کی تعداد میں بچے بوڑھے جوان عورتیں اور مرد آزاد جموں کشمیر اور صوبہ سرحد میں بے خانماں پڑے ہیں ۔ نہ سر پر چھت ہے نہ ان کے پاس سردی سے بچنے کے لئے کپڑے ہیں اور نہ کچھ کھانے کو ہے ۔ عزیزوں کی اچانک موت کے ساتھ ساتھ ان کا سب کچھ تباہ ہو چکا ہے ۔ ان لوگوں نے 8 اکتوبر کی صبح سحری کھائی تھی اس کے بعد سے کچھ نہ کھایا نہ پیا ۔ کھائیں کہاں سے سب کچھ ملبے کے نیچے دب گیا ۔اپنے گھروں کی الماریوں اور صندوقوں کی تلاشی لیجئے ۔ آپ دیکھیں گے کہ آپ کا گذارا پانچ جوڑوں ۔ دو سویٹروں ۔ دو کوٹوں اور ایک کمبل یا رضائی سے ہو سکتا ہے مگر آپ کے پاس اس سے زیادہ یا بہت زیادہ چیزیں ہیں ۔ ان زائد کپڑوں ۔ کمبلوں اور رضائیوں کا اس سے بہتر کوئی استعمال نہیں کہ انہیں زلزلہ کے متاءثرین کو دے کر اپنی انسانیت کا ثبوت دیں اور ان کی دلی دعائیں بھی حاصل کریں ۔
جب آپ اپنے گھر سے سامان دے چکیں تو پھر اپنے رشتہ داروں ۔ دوستوں اور محلہ داروں کو اس نیک کام میں بھرپور حصہ لینے کی نہ صرف ترغیب دیں بلکہ ان سے کپڑے ۔ کمبل اور رضائیاں اکٹھے کر کے مناسب طریقہ سے متاءثرین تک پہنچانے کا بندوبست کیجئے ۔ راولپنڈی اور اسلام آباد کے رہائشی اس سلسہ میں مجھ سے ٹیلیفون نمبر 2252988 اور 03215102236 پر رابطہ کر سکتے ہیں ۔ میں سامان ان کے گھر سے اٹھانے کے لئے بھی تیار ہوں ۔ میں سامان پہنچانے والے کچھ با اعتماد اداروں کو جانتا ہوں

Just spread out the word and dont look back, is what I have been following since two days. My younger brother got saved only few feets away God knows how. And I feel strong obligation that for the love of those who got lost or who are with us, we stand united and do as much as we can. Apart from blogger, I have found SMSes, and mobile to be more effective., but still blogs is also good place to spread the word… Asma, you, and other people from the close areas can bring many things to the blogs which other news agencies cant or dont cover… Asma, if you could see taking some snaps of people fighting, struggling and helping so when tomorrow comes the dawn knows we might not give new life to these people but we were awake… thats all it matters i guess.. sorry for being out of words but plss dont loose heart, its good to be connected…
I am the founder of WikiPakistan–a “Pakistan Information Database” hosted by the same foundation that runs WikiPedia. I started a page about the Quake on WikiPakistan on Friday night (California Time)as soon as I heard of the Quake. The page (and affiliated pages) is starting to become a good place to gather and look for information.
